Q. Will my house be safe?
A. Burglary is big business with 1 in 20 homes targeted on a regular basis. If someone is in residence then you are less likely to be affected. You are also more secure with a Christian family than you would be with a total stranger from a commercial home exchange.
Q. What about insurance?
A. You are likely to be covered for external break-ins only but check to be sure because companies vary. Stress you have chosen someone to house-sit while you are away.
Q. Who can I contact if things go wrong?
A. Harshal Carey is only a phone call or e-mail away.
Q. Are members vetted?
A. Not personally, but all are required to confirm their Names and address and that they are practising Christians and give their place of worship.
A. No charge should be made for these but remuneration must be given for phone calls.
